Spring has sprung!

We are so excited that the warm weather is finally here!!! We finally have our garden in! We made three raised beds and have planted tomatoes, green beans, peas, strawberries, melons, carrots, peppers and all sorts of things...probably put in way more than I should have, but just couldn't help myself! We've been working in the yard, we have trimmed the trees, and planted flowers....I just Love the spring! These beautiful 70 degree days don't last too long, so we will just enjoy every minute of them!

Baseball is getting started, and the boys love their teams. John is once again on the Braves team and Billy is a Diamondback. Opening day is next weekend, and then we will really get moving, thank heavens for car pooling! John will finish swimming at Fleet for this school year at the end of the month and they (AliEmme, John, and Billy) will start on the neighborhood swim team next month. AliEmme is in track and has really been sticking to it. She works so hard! I am really proud of how well she is doing! Mike has also started swimming regularly and feels much more energized each day. (maybe I need to start swimming!)

Becca is a little handful. She wants to help with everything, and insists on dressing herself. She goes through at least 3 oufits a day. I will try to post a couple of pictures of said outfits tomorrow. She wants to do whatever the boys are doing and drives them about nuts!

Sarah is growing so fast. She is still pretty easy going, and is definately a favorite of all of the children in our house. They all want to hold her...which is great until they go to school and she still wants to be held all day.

We are getting ready for spring break this week. THank heavens, we will need a week to adjust to Daylight Savings! It is definately not my favorite! AliEmme is heading to Utah to spend time with Mike's family. She is really excited and has been making lists and saving money to buy little gifts and other little items to make her stay enjoyable. The rest of us are staying here and working in the yard and probably swimming at the YMCA.

All in all we are keeping pretty busy, but having lots of fun. I may not be saying that when swimming starts, but so far, we are hanging in there!
